I really get to wondering about the future of the cattle industry converted into beef will look like as antibiotic restrictions grow and resistance to them also occurs. Environmental stress at birth and the duration and amplitude of the stress (hot/cold, frostbite, damp) probably plays a big influence on genetic performance, response to vaccine, and also future mortality?
