NW Iowa | Talking to my insurance agent this morning and it looks like in my case for the ECO option to go to 95% in corn would cost right around 30 dollars to gain an extra 88 dollars in coverage and in beans 19 dollars to gain about 66 dollars in coverage so I don't know if that is worth it. I like the idea of extra coverage especially with the dry weather but it seems to me that is quite a bit of cost for what I am gaining. The expected premiums for my normal coverage were ugly too. Sure is something how fast inputs go up when the grain prices go up too. | |
