Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | I had to hesitate on moving up from 75% EU to 80% EU that only paid 2.18:1 return on premium but I did in a couple of counties. If I have a loss which looks kind of likely that 80% level kicks in quick enough to make up for the extra premium. Plus I have more revenue protected.
I used to go 75% optional units for a long time but that was $51/acre this year vs $28.91 for 80% EU.
