I’m not far from you and worked in the trades in a former life. Rule of thumb in our area for turn key well was $6k. May be about $2k cheaper if able to use existing interior parts (pressure tank, switch, piping, etc.).

Have they tried a sediment filter, carbon filter, iron curtain, then softener in that order? Installed a few of those and that was the cure for incredibly high iron situations.
