Coal, natural gas, nuclear will be lucky to recover 50% of the energy burned in the electrical output. 90% is absurd on it's face.

There is likely only 10% of the energy used present in chemical form in those turbines, still less than 50% in typical trash. I'll be happy to be corrected, this is all from the hip.
