| A better question could also be you WILL have an electrical generator installed next to your home. It can be a solar panel/windmill, or a natural gas/coal plant. Pick one.
I am biased since I currently work in solar, but I came from (and enjoyed very much) working in the coal industry. But they are dirty pigs of a power source. Don't get me wrong, out the stack is clean as a whistle. But that dust off the coal pile, the railway in, coal bunkers, etc and all the slag/ash out of the plant can literally build mountains (and has! I've seen them!). | |
