Have friend who has fields next to new solar panel 'farms', when they were first finished, run-off from rain storm ( possibly hurricane, cannot remember ) flooded some of his ground.. No crops involved but some moderate erosion to his property. Power company immediately responded with offer of basically a blank check to repair problem, just pleaded with him to not contact news media / lawyer. Keep it quiet was their objective, did not want any negative publicity.
He repaired erosion damage, did not contact anyone, and made a hefty profit. According to him, very hefty.
