Kentucky | Seems to be a good deal of interest in leasing land for solar panels in our area lately. Offering $7-$800 per acre for 25 year lease with 2 5 year renewables. 2% escalation per year. Several people nearing retirement signing up. Suspect it could have serious negative effect on my property value. I don’t have much interest even though I won’t be farming much longer. Just wondering if these offers are legitimate or are problems being created for those that will inherit the land. | |
