Run lots of ethernet cable. Wireless is ok but hardwired won't get blocked by walls and is currently far faster than wifi. Plus if you have the right switch you can use it to power POE devices like cameras or wireless access points.
Future wifi tech will undoubtedly be faster than current ethernet cables, but you won't be able to transmit power wirelessly across the house for a long time.
