Elsmore, Kansas | First and foremost it’s all about operating in the black when ur in business and it looks like u r doing that. Second is when u make a sell it’s a sell and u have to be happy w it when u make it because it’s done. Don’t feel to bad as I’m delivering all my beans for an average of 9.50 and yeah that price doesn’t look to hot today but it looked good when we were marketing thru the spring and summer, in fact it was above our target for beans so it was a good number and it keeps me profitable. I’m I getting rich NOPE but I’m still in the game and operating in the black and that’s a win every day. It’s all about averages in ag marketing IMHO some times u sell high, sometimes u sell low, and sometimes it’s just a sell but if each sell gets made w black ink u stay on the positive side of things and it’s always easier to sleep at night when u know the inks black. | |
