I had the same issues with my 1460 in 06. Needed a lot of work, decided to fix it up. Spent more than whats its worth now a couple of times, still going strong. Mine has now about 5300 hrs. I knew what I had and very glad I did it. I did most of the work myself. I would love to have a 2388, I would fix it.
