Anybody ever regret going from drill to row planter for beans

I will add 2 comments, a planter will give you better depth control & spacing. Depends how much importance you put on those. I feel depth control is more important than spacing. Other is, until just the last few years my highest bean yield came back in the early '70s using conventionall beans in 36" rows.


Took us until 2016 to beat our whole farm average from 1977 which had great weather....they were planted with a old ,wore out planter made out of a JD 290 &490 with 22 &26" rows...benefit of being young, no fear
