North Central Illinois | I was thinking about other options when I decided that the old rolls were too worn out. Ag Talker had a new set that was sitting in the shed at a price I couldn't refuse, so I decided not to go the aftermarket route. Also read that chopping rolls are a bad idea with the 40 series gearboxes.
Tell me more about cutting a window in the factory rolls. I do notice that I have trouble with stalks breaking and falling forward before the rolls grab it if I have a hole in the stand and that plant doesn't have another one right next to it to lean against. | |
