| When we first bought this house, I noticed that all the stair treads had been removed from the stringers in this escape stairway. Learned later that the previous owner had a large upright piano down in this basement. When they moved out, they removed the stair treads, and pushed the piano into the empty space. The lady's Dad came along wiht a telehanler to lift the piano out. I guess it worked. showboat | |
