Subject: RE: Moving A Pool Table

Minnesota
Two friends and I moved an antique table i found on Facebook to my "Game Room" in the basement. This table was built in the 1900's-1910's and made of some of the heaviest material i have ever seen.

It's a 9' table with 1" slate that breaks down into three pieces. Each piece had us sweating and stopping for a break after the trip down the stairs. Then came the main frame, probably a 5 man job. I will never move this table again.

I did hire professional installers to set it up because it was so old and needed new cloth anyway. Looks and plays great but i swear you could crash a small car into it and it wouldn't move.
