What is the reason you can’t build a straight walk out on the back side of the house? From what I understand the terrain drops away on the back side. But you said there is a crawl space under the house? How do you have both a crawl space and a basement? Is the basement only under part of the house? I’m just a bit confused as to why you can’t build the walkout on the back side of the house.
