And now we no longer need each other, or rather we think we don’t, and so will be cutthroat in business, file trivial lawsuits, encroach on each other’s property, no longer care to even know our neighbours let alone visit, etc, etc. Our lives are so good now that we think it is a right, not a privilege, to have most of what we want. What was built on the foundation of mutual goodwill towards our fellow man is being torn down day by day. |
