There’s a lot of old knowledge and techniques that are being lost as the older generation passes on. Could and would we survive? For the most part. But there would be a very, very steep learning curve that many wouldn’t adjust to fast enough to avoid some very severe suffering.

Kind of like Jamestown making glass and other foofoo junk instead of growing crops like they should have, because that's the silver spoon way they were used to. And they starved out in short order. Most on here would be in high demand as trainers and mentors.

Another example is the way the Vikings died out in Greenland, while the native Inuit were doing just fine. They stuck to their European ways of living, and considered the "Skraelings" inferior to them.
