thats the way we been building them for years, mostly 2 7/8 * 10 ft long corners, use cement about 5 ft deep with 2 /3/8 braces, spaced about 9 feet sometimes almost 10 ft apart.
the 3rd post or dead man,
however you do it makes the main brace more than twice as strong.
