I work by the cutter head hour as well. If I can't see the next truck coming I shut the cutter head off. Trucks are running on straight time

Edit. I can't do it by the acre, I don't have a way to masure it on the chopper. Plus working by the hour provides incentive to the customer not to send you to some billy goat roping hilly patch full of point rows.
