Friend charged a neighbor of mine by the cutterhead hour. Lots of down time, not enough haulers (he only provided the chopper I think) and more stuff like that. He broke down and I covered 1 crop. I charged the same only added a $100 hour for excessive sitting, otherwise I would have been there for 10 hours to chop 4-6 hours. I am not the guy who sits with the chopper head running while waiting. If it's going to be a long wait, I'll shut the machine off .
