“These are the times that try men's souls.” | Here in Idaho the inspectors make you have a air break or no submerged water inlet when using a booster pump to do barn wash down if you use a storage tank for wash water. I used a 1/2 and a 3/4 hp if I recall over the years. I really didn't see any difference in proformance between either one. Used that for clean up on every milking. I would also check rules on keeping any pressure washer stored in milk barn. Here its illegal to have in barn or being caught using one if you don't have check valve installed. They will write you up for having pressure wash stored in barn in no use. I used pressure washer about once a year in barn, then take it back to shop. |
