| I'd recommend air brakes instead of hydraulic and a 427 motor if you go for a C70.
I had a tag axle Chevy with 20 ft. box and a 366. It was a sick puppy on the highway with 450 bu. wheat, barely get over 70 km/hr. I picked up an '83 Chev tandem this spring with a 427 converted to Edelbrock carb. It won't set the world on fire but it's a lot better than the 366. It has a 5-speed with 2-speed air shift on the tandem boggie that seems to work well and is easy for less experienced drivers to handle (i.e. when the kids are around to help with harvest). Unfortunately this '83 came with hydraulic brakes, I spent a lot of money on them already and still not great.
