South Texas | As I get older I’m tired of too hot of food. I like flavor, like spice, but don’t see the point in blistering the tongue. I’m cooking with lots of bell peppers now. Home grown jalapeños are good too, because I water them, but store bought ones have too much risk of being way hotter than they should be, never know what you’re gonna get. Then there’s the salsa at some mexican restaurants, if its called salsa, not the one you eat with chips, the one with no taste and a couple drops will ruin a taco. | |
