SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | I was at a friend's over the weekend helping them prepare for a small cookout. They had a bowl of the biggest boiled shrimp I've ever seen in my life in the kitchen and of course those helping in the kitchen get to sample so I had a couple. They were delicious!before putting them on the table they dump some so-called creole sauce on them and toss them all around and I tried on after that and it was ungodly hot in my mind. Had no idea what the shrimp tasted like for the sauce And I sure didn't like the sauce. Had some ribs that I think would have been really good the texture and tenderness was there but I'll be damned if I could Tell what they tasted like for the bitty barbecue sauce on them. I guess I'm the odd man out but I like all of my foods meats and vegetables alike lightly and carefully seasoned I want to know what I'm eating. |
