Orchard grass seed didn't flow well out of the grass box with the tubes on. Kept plugging the tubes. Ended up taking the tubes off let spill on the ground. Was tilled ground. Try putting alfalfa in the small box and orchard in the big box or mix in the big box.
Spiders and muddabbers like to play in the tubes. Need to blow them out or run a dowel rod through them to get rid of the webs and nests.
But yes you can put either in either box. |
