Small seed box works just fine for your mix, it will flow down the hoses. Be aware of the volunteer wheat competition to the seedlings this fall and next spring. We plant alfalfa only now so select can kill the volunteer wheat, then seed the grass in spring. If you want wheat forage come spring, go for it.
