I believe that could be overcome with covercrop adjustments.



That might even be a reason to do it.

I’m familiar with and will be sticking to diakon radishes.
We have had trouble with cover crop mixtures overwintering...


Sorry. I believe I read somewhere that there are cover crops that help suppress nematodes. This may be a reason to do “it”, plant 60” rows with nematode suppressing covercrops. We know that healthy soils make for healthy crops, and healthy crops can do better with dealing with adverse conditions. So it makes sense to me to add covercrops to increase biodiversity, biomass, etc. to increase soil health. Even if it cost yield in the short term.
