You are correct. We set the planter for 45k but on a per acre basis only planted 30k (2/3rds of 45k).

We used 108 hole bean discs to plant the beans (vs 40 hole corn discs) so the bean population is approximately 45*108/40 = 128k

In our other solar corridor experiment, corn is every other row and the target population *in the corn rows* is about 60k but only half as much on a per acre basis.

A photo of our 60" corn with a 4 way CC mix (forage soy, cowpea, sunn hemp and sunflower) taken last week should be attached.
