This spring I had a food plot that was a beanplot last year in 30” rows. Was kinda late before I got over there to plant the corn in this year’s plot. So the gras was getting a good head start. And last years rows were green as could be and twice as tall directly over the previous year bean rows. So that answered my question how much N is really fixed.
A lot of N is fixed, but it gets put in the beans. If they are not harvested, the beans themselves give the N credit. |
