Before you explore hooking up the auto steer be certain that your Insight has been unlocked for steering. This was a $750 unlock that is no longer available. An older Insight that has the unlock will continue to work with a Nav II.
I used a Nav II with an Insight and 332 with Omnistar on a planting tractor for several years. The tractor was a Deere 8120 without a Deere steering valve so an external valve was needed. This worked fine.
Insight won't power up, is the missing "power control relay" the problem?
