Wht one, I understand what you are saying, when you hit a guy where it hurts it resolves the issue. The strategy of hitting a guy where it hurts in a way he understands is a good strategy.

Hurting those animals is just cruel. You can find another way to hurt the owner in a way he understands. Hit him in his wallet or harm his reputation. Don't hurt some innocent animals.

Don't try to pin those animals' slow and painful death entirely on their owner. You had a hand in those slow and painful deaths. It doesn't matter if legally you are not guilty. You were cruel to some animals and this should weigh heavily on your conscience.

There are ways to achieve the same end result without animal cruelty. Those methods require a little bit more work. You bought yourself some free time by killing a bunch of animals.
