E. CO, exactly half way between NE and OK | I was thinking about this thread when I was driving combine cutting wheat. We haven't had any cattle problems for years. The guy that wouldn't keep his cattle out that I put the pickup out on out property hasn't had any cattle on our property for over 25 years.
Another guy that came to our area in the 40's after the war and farms west of us has put up with one guy we had problems with until I put a stop to that. He is glad I put a stop to his cattle.
The third guy that tried to run cattle on everyone went broke and moved out of the community and everyone was glad to see then leave.
The cowboys talk about me at the local coffee shop, but is guess they know if they run their cattle on our land, the s--- will hit the fan. |
