S Illinois | Can wind/hail/green snap policies stand alone as an insurance policy? That seems like a tiny % of the book of crop insurance. With removal of government support for the multi peril, the vast majority of income to crop insurance companies would be removed. As such all of the overhead, salaries, etc would have to be covered by those small policies. Would seem like a large price increase to those products would need to occur to cover the overhead. | |
