West of Lincoln a little bit
It's hard for farmers, us included, to not feed a crop something it needs. But this is also a business and a review of ROI must be considered. More than just immediate ROI, but also future impact. There are some things we do that just don't make sense in this current pricing environment and are more harmful than helpful to the bigger picture. If your typical fungicide application doesn't yield enough to justify the cost then don't do it this year. If you get varying results YOY, then do some split testing. You'll be part right part wrong.

Maxing for yield is only good to a point. We need to be smart businessmen and not just try for the biggest bragging rights.
