Subject: Starting a custom business

Can anyone tell me if getting into custom work is worth it. I use to be in the livestock business but got out a few years ago. I hear people say how busy i would stay if i custom bailed hay or hauled hog manure. Busy and making money are to diffrent things in my opion. So is it worth buying equipment soley for custom work and not using it for myself? I do have the time for custom work since i personally don't farm anymore. So basically is the investment worth custom work? I do live in SE Iowa so i am in hog country and row crop country. Ive thought about round baling, hauling manure, custom planting, harvesting and even spraying. Whats your guys thoughts or what needs do you see in my area? Thanks!
