NE NEBRASKA | If you know wheres work go do it. Custom balers in my area only last a few years. Any decent jobs won't last long because the farmer will buy his own baler for better timing. I have a baler I get some calls to bale when other guys are broke down or need help to bale before rain. I usually turn down extra work, it's usually demanding people who only have a few acres to bale. One he was completely serious he wanted me to drive ten miles for three bales.
Corn stalk baling has demand but seems like every fall gets wet so the custom guys can't cover enough ground so feedlots buy there own balers . | |
