sw ontario | Most are family owned greenhouses with a packing plant/sales division ....Labor is mostly foreign workers , $100's of millions in vested...at least a dozen big outfits like https://www.naturefresh.ca near me or https://www.muccifarms.com by Thud..... these guys run greenhouses in Canada, US , Mexico,Spain........ maybe a dozen big outfits + a lot of new cannabis farms...1.5 miles west of me a couple of Mexican brothers are doing a $100 mil. greenhouse/packing plant expansion and in maybe last 10 yrs. have spent anothert $100 mil. , there Dad ,ilks 2,500 cows with yogurt/cheese factory in Mexico.....fwiw around 75% of all production is sold to US...When in Nashville at a little grocery store like Whole Foods I showed them there grape tomatoes, grown in Mexico,packed in Canada and then shipped to Tn....
Down side is that they have completely destroyed our community....good part is they pay premium money for land so lots of guys could/have retired rich....Google Earth kingsville/leamington and go north east
