That is what my Dad started planting corn with in the 50’s, then in the 60’s he got a IH 456 4 row pulled with a WD Allis Chalmers, thought he had the world by the tail then,lol. It had dry fertilizer boxes that he filled with bagged starter fertilizer. Seemed like he was planting for the whole neighborhood then while Mom and us kids milked the cows.
