NCIN | I was the one working ground for dad too. I couldn't plant straight enough for him! No gps then.
I was 40 when he passed away and finally had to plant. The first day planting corn the first spring he was gone was pretty tough emotionally.
Now I'm back to working what little ground we do work and for the most part let my son plant.
I do remember being the one to make sure the fertilizer bags were on the tail gate and opened ready to put in the planter. Wasn't big enough to fill the planter though.
