Subject: RE: planting memories

Liberty, MO
I can go back further, how about the early 50’s, 1946 Oliver 60 and 1950 Oliver 88 with heat houser on the “88”. Everything was moldboard plowed, disced and planted with 2 row mounted planter on the “60”. Some days it was uncomfortable to say the least. First cabbed tractor, 2150 Oliver bought used about 2-3 yrs old, heater, windshield wiper maybe a radio, telephone booth doors. On a hot day, you parked it, because they were hot to ride without a cab on a hot day.
