We have done like the poster above ,(NO PUMP ) and hot water rises . Since we moved our Bathroom ,now we have HOT water there . Insulated all the ,except the last 10 foot before entering the water heater at the bottom . also put a check in the line . Been doing this for a long time and don't have the pump running 24/7
