Subject: RE: Hot water recirculating pump

N E Iowa
I did the same thing in my house without pump. I just hooked the line from sink into the bottom of the water heater. The natural physics of hot water rising and the cool water flowing back to the bottom of the water heater circulates the water without a pump. This is been working perfectly for the last 11 years.

I had asked my plumber to hook it up when he was here putting in a new furnace. He insisted that I needed a pump. I told him I did not need a pump so I ended up just doing it my way.
