90 is a minimum. Most years we used 4 bu/acre so around 128#. I would drill it with a drill with a small seed box and use 10# of the cheapest red clover seed you can find. The red clover will give you one big cutting of hay because it is already established when the oats is combined. It will also put N in the ground for next year's crop.
