| I second that suggestion. We drove up there last summer (again). We were a bit early for the steelhead, so took a couple of days and just touristed. From there, it's a short distance to Terrace, BC. Beautiful country. Nice campground. They still have the fish fry, and we were told that it's still good. We missed it at the time we were there. I think it was on my first trip up that I went to that fish fry - in August of 1969. I was told at that time that Hyder was a good place to get into a fist fight - all you had to do was to go to the bar and tell a Norwegian joke. | |
