You hit on something that is a real problem. It can be very dangerous for a doctor to go against the establishment. I've been told that there are doctors who are obsessed about avoiding getting sued - to the point of not really being effective doctors.
There is no substitute for doing like you have done - being responsible for your own well-being. If a person does not take that responsibility, too often the odds are stacked against them. |
