Mine was 145 tonight. A little higher than I like to see, but considering I am type 2 diabetic on no drugs or no insulin, pretty good for dietary control.

I had a fair amount of grilled cabbage tonight as a side and that took me a little higher than my normal 125-135 after meals. I also ate a pretty big meal as my previous meal was 23 hours earlier. Nothing but 2 cups coffee and water in that time.

Grilled cabbage turned out great. Slab of 1" thick cabbage center cut from the head about 8" in diameter. Surrounded by bacon like you would do a bacon wrapped fillet. Tooth pics around to hold the bacon on and the bacon holds the cabbage together. Slather it I olive oil both sides and grill both sides on a hot 400-450 degree grill. Turned out yummy.

Main dish was pork sausages and bacon wrapped ground pork.
