Southern Indiana | In the spring of 88 I bought at auction a 78 model F2 with 13 ft head and 4 row corn head. Heard it sold new for 42,000 and I bought it for $9500. I was like a kid on Christmas morning who found just what he wanted under the tree. It was the finest straw producing machine ever made, which is primarily what I wanted it for. What I really liked about it is you could stand in 1 spot and see about every moving part and better yet walk right up to it without taking a bunch of stuff off to get to it. The man who hauled my grain said their nickname was "The galvanized grinder". | |
