Subject: RE: Combining speed in beans

Highland co. Ohio
I would say 140ac would be a tough day for one 2388. We usually only get around 200ac/day running a 2388 and 2188 both with 30' tables. Our beans are 7.5" rows, speed for both is usually around 5.5mph in good conditions but 7mph is possible in dry conditions and the 2188 will outdo the 2388 most of the time. We demoed a 8010 with a 36' draper head last week and the extra hp make a big difference, at least 2mph faster then the 88s in all conditions and finished up a field of 16% beans when we couldn't have run the 88s.
