Subject: RE: Combining speed in beans

This year with a 25' head on our 2366 we ran anywhere from 2-4 mph before a killing frost and ran up to 5.2 mph (full hydro in 2nd gear with the Mud Hog on) after the frost. I wouldn't underestimate the difference the hp difference would make, if he's got 20% more power and an AFX rotor he would have a big capacity increase over what you have even though much of the machines would be the same.

Last year one day in 70 bushel beans we just 7,480 bushel (weighted by the grain cart) and this year in 40 bushel beans I think our best day was around 4,500 bushels.
